Dr. Bishop discouraged me from having another child at the age of 38... Dr. Bishop said, “Why would you rock the boat. You already have two kids and the rate of DS is so much higher at your age. Why risk it?” I am now 43 and really disappointed, I allowed her to talk me out of having another child.

I switched gynecologists because I wanted a woman. Dr. Bishop asked if was sexually active and said, “yes.” That is pretty normal, but when I asked her about birth control options, namely the IUD, she gave me a weird look and said those are only for women in monogamous relationships. Her saying that because I had more than one partner made me feel awful about myself. Also, that's not even true, any woman who wants an IUD can get one. I found her to have a cold hearted bedside manner.

She will make you feel completely at ease and is very knowledgeable. I left my appointment feeling like she answered all my questions throughly.

This doctor can cure you if you are healthy and have minor concerns. But if you have a real problem, she doesn't know how to handle it ( even can prescribe you contraception when you are asking about a pregnancy).

Dr Bishop is amazing. She's caring, really takes her time. Many doctors, especially when you're pregnant, get you in and out and don't talk to you much. She does! She is very open and easy to talk to.

Dr. Bishop delivered my second child. She is an amazing doctor. She was at my bedside for my entire pushing stage of labor until delivery. She checked in on my everyday in recovery and is amazing. She has an excellent personality and I truly believe her encouragement and faith in me was the reason I was able to deliver vaginally this time.
