The whole place is fantastic

She is incredibly warm and makes you feel very comfortable during the appointment. Very intelligent woman who has years and years of knowledge and looks deeper than the surface to find the root of your ailment. Her Functional Medicine style was not something I was use to but I now refuse to go to anyone else as she's done such an amazing job with me and my family.

If you are looking for a good Dr. in the Folsom area there are many. DR. Burke's decision to charge for her services over and above insurance payments is ridiculous. We all are trying to save money in this economy not spend more!

I have been so thrilled with her new practice style. She spends an ample amount of time with me or my children for each visit and takes time to understand what is going on and ensure I am satisfied leaving. I can never go to another doctor after my experience with her. It has been over the top!!!

The experience has been great with Dr. Burke this year. She has personally called me more than once. I get email updates from office staff. The amount of time I get to talk to her and her to explain what I need to know is more time than you can get from a normal doctor. I usually get into see Dr. Burke for an annual physical in about a week and other instances within 1 - 2 days. Before I had ot book physicals months in advance. The specialized service makes life much easier. I recommend it, although it is tough paying extra money so far I can say it has been worth it.

I had a great experience with this doctor. I waited less than five minutes and was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. I appreciate the fact I was allowed to ask as many questions as I needed and never felt like I got the bums rush to get out. Friendly staff was also a plus. I would recomend Dr Burke to anyone who wants quality care.

The level of service and attention since moving to the new business model has been amazing. I don't think the rushed feeling prior to the change was Dr. Burke's fault; it's just the reality of how many appts it takes to cover overhead. The new arrangement costs patients more money, but that's because it's a different type of practice. I've never had a doctor before who could spend 20 minutes (w/o an appt) surfing the internet with me looking for a better deal on medication. The new service has been well-worth the money.

Based on the reviews I'm wondering if I'm seeing the same Dr. as the reviews are saying. Since the practice moved to the new model I have had no issues. Prior to that I do have to admit that it seemed as if she was always in a rush and having knowledge of the health care system it makes sense. Now when we go there is never a issue. Our family gets her full attention and the past issues have been resolved. Staff being rude? I have never had a bad experience with the staff. Our kids love going there even if they have to get shots.

I think this is so sad that our medical profession is coming to asking patients for additonal money for there care. I don't believe this is all the fault of our medical doctors however, being rude, disrespectful and not knowing how to run a business is. When I explained this to a family member they commented,"this isn't Greys Anatomy is it" and "these doctors need to get over themselves".

I visited knowing i'd be seeing her stand in but then he gave me the wrong perscription which was a huge mistake and i'm happy i didn't take it right away. When i tried to rectify the problem the staff was rude, they took forever to give me the correct perscription and failed several times to return calls or fax over my perscription to longs. Ugh!!
