Dr. Kristoffel Dirk Dumon, MD

Dr. Dumon's cell phone rang three times during our very brief appointment, and all three times, he answered. The first call was from a No Call ID number, and he answered and had a brief conversation. The second two calls, he said, were robocalls. I was tempted to ask if he would take calls when I was on the operating table. Additionally, when I provided feedback to the office staff when they called to confirm future appointments (which I cancelled), they did not care. I did not feel seen or heard; their patient experience efforts are the pits. (the entire process of bariatric surgery at Penn is a mess; there are so many appointments and specialists and the process is not streamlined or organized at all.

Very caring before during and after procedures... Listens to the patient, reiterates and explains. Extremely patient- sometimes it feels like the wait time is excessive that is until you are with him and he answers every question you or your support person has. And you realize when youa re the one with a problem or concern he is there for you- maybe waiting a few minutes isn't soo bad- since he is soo thorough
