Dr. Kristopher Jay Aalderink

BEWARE!!! This so called orthopedic sports medicine doctor will not proscribe anything except OTC pain relief unless you are having surgery. If I had known this I would not have wasted my time or money to see him. I already knew and was doing everything he told me to do, icing, heat, gentle exercise, OCT pain/ inflammation products and the use of on OTC pain cream. I made an appointment with him because none of those things were helping my pain.

Only if he's doing a lengthy surgery done he seems to care about your recovery.he did surgery on my shoulder and said I was going back to work the next week.i was in so much pain and hadn't even healed,but he told disability I could work,so they denied my claim

I had surgery by Dr. Aalderink in 2012 on my knee. He did a great job and follow up was excellent. I will probably require a knee replacement some years down the road and pray he is still in the area so I can have him do the surgery.

Dr.Alderink is. Very nice person. He listen very carefully and answer very clear . He try to explain everything about my health condition and future to take care of my health so far we are working on my shoulder . I just got small surgery yesterday let’s see how it works . But I will. Highly recommend Dr.Aalderink.

I was a new and he literally spent about five minutes with me. Once he saw my X-rays were OK I felt like he didn’t care to try to help me figure out what’s going on With my hip.

My son tore is MCL, ACL, and meniscus during a football game. Dr. Aalderink was wonderful and very helpful explaining his injury, repair and future for my son. he has a wonderful bedside manner and did an amazing job. My son made a 100% recovery. HIs staff is wonderful also.

Dr. Aalderink is an uncaring, unsympathetic doctor! Thank God I got a second opinion. Dr. Aalderink almost ruined my life. He recommended PT for my injury & it only made things worse. When I continued to have problems he completely "blew me off"!! Wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy.

I really appreciated Dr. Aalderink's work with me. He tried things other than surgery, and when I decided I needed the surgery, he did an excellent job explaining the process both before and after the surgery. He also did a good job repairing an issue that didn't show up on the MRI.

I had seen Dr. Aalderink for knee pain. I was barely able to walk. X-rays were taken in the office which put me in tears due to turning my legs in to painful positions. The Dr was standing at the end of the hallway as I hobbled back to the exam room. came in less then a minute later, said "I looked at your x-rays, your right knee is just as bad as the left ( which I had been in 18 months prior, for a hairline tractor) with Osteoarthritis, we should do some injections of synesthetic lubricate, I don't want to give a depo injection ( which would have eased the pain) because long run it tears down the cartilage. The injections take about 1 to 2 weeks to get authorized by insurance companies, then we go from there. Sound like a plan! Because I was on break for work for Christmas, figured I could wait. I heard for the assistant the next day who get the injections authorized, she stated it was going to be about 4 weeks to get them authorized. I started crying, there is now way I could… go that long with that much pain. I was given another appointment with a different Dr. in the same office and He got me out of pain immediately on my first visit with him. It ended up taking 6 weeks for injections to become authorized. I'm so glad I was seen by someone else. Want to see a competent DR. Research Dr. Donald Wild in the same office. You won't go wrong!
