Dr. Cahill and her staff are great. She listens, asks questions and doesn't make you feel rushed. Dr. Cahill is down to earth and also connects with you on a more personal level, which makes you feel like a person that she cares about rather than just another patient on the list for the day. Due to our insurance coverage changing, I could no longer stay with my prior PCP. I'm so glad I found Dr. Cahill as my new PCP.

It's difficult when your doctor retires and you need a new one. But Dr. Kristy Cahill is so warm and attentive that you can't help but be comfortable.

While Dr Cahill was a decent doctor, I was never able to see her if I had an issue. The practice thinks it's okay to cancel routine yearly appointments with patients and then tell them the next one available is 6 months later in a new calendar year. Maybe I'm behind the times, but I do not feel this is acceptable. I regrettably lost my cool with the reception staff about this matter (and apologized to reception about it) and was then dropped from the practice via letter two weeks later. Furthermore I had a request in for an anxiety script refill, and after almost two weeks of waiting, and not understanding why it wasn't getting filled, I received said letter that they were dropping me and would not fill a script because they did not feel it was a chronic issue and I could get my new doctor to fill it. And as most of you know, it can take some time to see a new doctor. I am embarrassed about my behavior, but feel that they brought on my frustration by their scheduling… practices. In closing, Dr Cahill was an okay doctor if you could actually get to see her, but there is much to be desired with how they treat their patients and I feel I received sub-par care from the stand-in they provided.

I like this doctor a lot. She's bright, proactive and a good listener. Unfortunatley the support staff at the north shore physicians group appears to be way understaffed. Routine calls take on average 10 or more minutes on hold in order to speak to someone. Referals require numerous calls to followup on as messages are not returned and the referal line is NEVER answered by a live person.
