Dr. Kristy Roper Kennedy, MD

I visited Dr. Kennedy's office recently and had no issues with wait time or her staff! I was greeted when I walked in the door and the nurse that put me in the room was very nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Kennedy completed a full body skin exam and recommended a few of my moles be biopsied. Her nurse called me back the next week with the results to let me know everything came back normal. I had a great overall experience with her office and I will be back for yearly skin exams.

The staff was totally rude, the Dr. explained little while procedure was being done, and even less explanation for aftercare treatment. I found it strange that not one vital sign was taken prior to the procedure. Will not return to see her, and would never recommend her.

Dr. Kennedy's full body exam was very hands off. I had to point out a spot on scalp, very disappointed in her lack of thoroughly examing the body for skin moles or possible skin cancers. I've had yearly skin exams which included checking scalp with a fine tooth comb, checking in between toes, under arms, back, fingers, and private areas, this was not this kind of exam. The spot on my scalp tested positive for basal cell carcinoma, had I not pointed this out as she was walking out the door, it would have gone undetected for another year. I know as the patient you have some responsibility for your health, but a yearly exam should be very thorough and you should leave the office feeling that the doctor did his/her job.
