Dr. Krystal Chambers

Dr. Chambers is always wonderful. She is professional, takes the time to listen to me, and, I truly believe, she wants the best care for me.

What can I say, I love Dr. Chambers. I recently, I drove (4 hrs.) from out of town to see her for a recurring problem that I had more than 10 years ago, one in which she treated me for and resolved. She is extremely caring, personable, and thorough in her diagnosis and treatment plan. My visit was truly worth the trip. i’m so happy I decided to make the trip.

One in a million !!!!!! Seeing her is like going to visit a friend .The staff is courteous, friendly and read your case notes prior to coming into the room and can have a conversation with you without reading them in front of you . I have been a patient of Dr. Chambers for way more years than I can remember and hope she doesn’t retire anytime soon . I trust her , respect her and her knowledge in her field is the most important aspect of all . Excellent Doctor

I feel like my visit was a waste of time. Although Dr. Chambers was nice, she told me that I essentially was not the type of patient that she could treat due to my mini health issues. I wasn’t asking her to treat them all. As a solution, she stated that she would contact colleagues to find care for me in my area of town. I explained that I did not mind traveling since so many of my providers are in the same area as her office. I never heard back from Dr. Chambers. I called and left a message and nobody responded. The quality of healthcare is truly scary to me. I am a Veteran with several health issues, and her response is often what I get. I have also encountered and have some amazing providers who don’t look like me. As a black woman, I am used to dealing with a lot of implicit bias. I hoped that Dr. Chambers would have been the exception to the rule, especially based on her videos about advocacy and care for those who are suffering. I have served this country, educated myself,… make a pretty good living, follow the laws of this land, treat others well, yet I have encountered some of the most apathetic “care providers” since relocating to of Georgia. I also MA licensed clinician, affected by health issues that I did not cause. I felt as if I was being patronized. She referred me to one of her colleagues for surgery, but that’s going to be a hard pass for me because in my opinion, black doctors often treat members of their own community with the same implicit bias that we often experience. Those who have treated me best and treat me best, are usually the Doctor Who migrated to the US or doctors from other demographics. When I heard nothing back from Dr. Chambers after two weeks, I processed the visit with a different lens. It felt like I was being told to go back to my side of town to get care. I think at times people make judgments about you based on the quality of your health. These doctors don’t seem to realize that the same health issues that plague the people they treat, could be the same health issues that they encounter at some point in life, or those they love the most. I’ve learned one thing as I have been proactive about my health and advocate for myself & my loved ones, as I did for so many marginalized groups is when you take away all the titles & acronyms, these medical providers are no different than us. Their job is what they do, their actions tell us who they are. Even if she could not help me, a simple message, as promised would have been received the same way those referrals would have been. It would have been the effort put forth that would have mattered most to me. I’m grateful that I treat people how want to be treated & the way I want those I care about and love to be treated. The irony is the doctors who warned me about implicit bias, and who encourage me to continue to advocate for myself, all look the same. I am certain that Dr. Chambers has experienced the same thing professionally and personally. I belong wherever I choose to get care. I have the means to make it happen and the audacity to know I belong anywhere I choose to go to preserve my health or save my life. I’m working on both of them.

Dr Krystal Chambers is really awesome! She has been my orthopaedic physician for over a year now. Dr. Chambers is friendly, caring, a great explainer and listener, and very professional. Her diagnoses are supported with testing and are accurate. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Chambers to anyone needing a top rate physical medicine and rehabilitation orthopaedic physician. Dr Chambers is wonderful. She has helped me before and I trust her completely. She is patient, listens and is happy to advises a treatment plan. Dr Chambers is amazing!

Dr. Chambers is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Her staff,( M A, Nurse, etc) are also the same. Only problem I have is the wait time is little long and I believe it's because Dr. Chambers is very thorough and patient with her patients questions.

Had a great procedure the doctor was attentive and explain everything to me. Her staff was great and I would recommend Dr. Chambers to anyone looking to have the same procedure I did.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chambers for some time. I have always found her to be extremely accessible, concerned about "me", and on target with you diagnosis of my problems. She has provided overall care and support for the issues I was facing, and took into consider the outside stress that was adding to the problem. I cannot imagine going to another specialist in Atlanta, to me she is the BEST!
