Dr. Kuldip Singh Banwait, MD

My wife and I visited in October. They requested we pay half that day and leave a post dated check for the remainder. A few weeks later I noticed the check wasn't cash so I inquired about it and was told insurance covered it, we owe nothing, and check will be ripped up. Months later in the middle of December one of the checks was suddenly cashed. I called and was told they have no record of a payment from us and that we owe nothing. I had my bank's branch manager on the phone with me to confirm that someone cashed it. They finally admitted that it must have accidentally been put in the he deposit bag by another employee. The bank was able to reverse it. The VERY next day it was cashed again but this time stamped with RESUBMIT. The bank reversed it yet again. I had to pay to put a stop payment because they would have kept trying to cash a check when they admit we owe nothing and take no responsibility for cashing it. Not to mention they were very rude when I called about it the last… time as if it was me that was causing the problem. So rude in fact that even the bank manager was looking at me in disbelief with wide eyes as she shook her head. They have put me through so much with this check. I hope this is the last of them. Doctor may be alright but the billing department is in disarray.

The Dr. was late . He did not finish my procedure. I now have to have an additional procedure. The business office says I owe $102.00 , and they aren't going to do the procedure until that balance is paid. Just be aware !

Well have waited and waited for results.. it's been a week and everytime I call they tell me oh he is gonna call you.. well when after I am dead? I keep calling but sure dont seem to help any..... i had colonoscopy to remove a mass and guess he wasnt able to get it from what I understand since I dodnt really catch everything he was saying since I was sitting in bathroom puking... ya instead of telling my family he was telling me... then when asked nurse if she could have him come talk to my family guess what he was gone and now cant get answers.

The team in the office is completely rude and very unethical! They do not realize that I have recorded every conversation we have had over billing and the office manager is so unbelievably rude that I have contacted an attorney to handle their billing and collecting practices!

My experience was not good! Dr. Ban wait never listened to what my symptoms were or took me seriously. All he wanted to do was a colonoscopy . When that showed nothing he said he had no ideas about what is wrong with me. Basically thought I was lying about the diaherria . I still have it but going to a different doctor.

Not sure if diagnosis is correct. He nor the nurse has taken time out to go over. When VERY sick, were were coldly told that we shouldn't have waited so long to come in, and would go over test results with follow up...4 WEEKS LATER! I told the nurse upfront that I was aggravated, she was short and rude then whined to Dr. He called me in 10 min! BUT not to reassure me as a patient, but ask why I was rude to his staff!! Oh my, they need to go into another field if cannot be more compassionate. We will be changing to another doctor.

My experience at the office was not all that bad, but I have been waiting since Dec for the Office Manager, Jill to check out my insurance and my payments, she said she believed I was due a refund, and now has neither made the refund or called me back.. I am not positive I am due a refund, but a call would be nice..

Glad I found this guy.

He always comes in to talk to you personally (other Dr of this persuasion in town almost never comes in the room - sends in his P.A. instead). Dr Banwait ALWAYS speaks to you in person, lisens carefully, has compassion, is thorough and efficient. His staff is super nice too!

Getting in to see the Doctor was not hard, and we didnt have to wait long to get to the back. When we went to the office, the receptionist was very friendly and nice, but when we had to call back to the office for results, whom ever answered the phones was very rude. She acted like we were bothering them because we wanted the results of the procedure that had been done. It took over two weeks for him to call back with the results of the procedure, after we had called his office over and over. They always said he was busy or at the hospital. I understand that doctors are very busy, but if they cannot take a few minutes to sit down and call a patient back, then they might need to decrease their work load and the number of patients he sees.
