Dr. Kullada Oyl Pichakron, MD

I went in for a small Hernia Scope and repair, came out with a whole stomach mesh??? At follow-up appointment asked why she put a mesh over my entire stomach? Dr. Pichakron didn’t answer my question. Had another appointment explaining pain and I could feel and see the Hernia bulge. Her reply, “you have nerve pain”. Ordered a prescription and sent me on my way.

She was caring for me and my daughter. Even after the bad press surround her case in 2009 she is the only surgeon i would go to ar DGMC. That patient survived a fatal injury ( a known complication to laprascopic surgery) because Dr Pichikrons quick actions. There was no vascular surgeons available and due to red tape between the military and civilian hospitals she was left to perform surgerical repair that even world renowned vascular surgeons would have had difficulty. I asked for her to care for my daughter because she is the best.
