Dr. Kunal M. Suryawala, MD

Professional, thorough, thoughtful and pleasant. Took time to review all my medical records. Office is easily accessible and staff are helpful and timely.

From my first meeting with Dr Suryawala, I saw a doctor who is very devoted to his practice. Always took the time to clearly explain any questions I had. He is friendly, caring and mos knowledgeable. He really saved my life with a procedure he performed on me and told me I needed an additional procedure. Colonoscopy, from which he removed cancerous cells. Consider yourself lucky to have him as your doctor

"Absolutely the worst doctor I’ve met. Incompetent beyond belief with no shame in charging you excessive fees for his poor performance. Scheduled a colonoscopy and went through his required protocols. When I arrived for the the exam the lady at the check in indicated what the charges would be and they were four times what was originally estimated. She said they tried calling and left a message which was a lie - they never called or left a message. I went through with the procedure and afterwards doctor Kunal indicated he wanted to do it over again in a couple of months since his equipment failed to register the exam properly. Stay away from doctor Kunal and his unprofessional practice. "

Consistently late (50+ minutes) without apology. When you complain, he 'fires' you as a patient. Front desk are rude and get things wrong. They clearly pick up the contempt for paients from their boss. Horrible place, horrible experience. Avoid. There are much better options available easily on this site.

I was referred to Dr. Mazen by my family doctor however he was all booked for weeks so I saw Dr. Suryawala instead. He saw me for maybe 2 minutes and then gave me (10) Zofran and sent me home. He said my ulcers, Gastritis would take 4-6 weeks to heal. I then went back to his office a week later for more Zofran (10) was not enough when it will take 4-6 weeks to heal. I also cannot even drink water without puking. His nurse then gave me a refill and told me I would need to go to the ER if symptoms continue.... That makes no sense! The ER will then just call a GI doctor to come see me or schedule an appointment for me. I already was seeing Dr. Suryawala so why would I go to the ER? I felt like I was not being taken seriously and that I was just being pushed through the system.

Very competent, fine bedside manner. I was immediately comfortable under his care. Quickly determined problem and clearly outlined treatment.

Dr. Suryawala really took the time to listen to me. He seemed to genuinely care how I was doing and feeling after my procedures. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about having a male doctor, because I have only had female doctors for my OB, and had never seen a gastroenterologist. However, Dr. Suryawala made me feel very comfortable. There was always a female nurse in the room during the procedures, which I liked. He is very professional and also very very nice. I liked him very much and would highly recommend him.

As my 6 yr old granddaughter says he’s our favorite Dr ever! Very thorough. Will spend all the time you need answering questions. Out of his way kind and compassionate and he’s backed up by an office staff that is excellent!

Dr Suryawala recently treated my wife. He was very competent, caring and compassionate.
