Dr. Kurt Michael Schulz, MD

When our child has been sick or had an issue, it is the same routine as a well-baby check. Not once, but 3 times, we have ended up going to the emergency room or urgent care. Last time went in with the flu. Simple flu test, nasal swab, would have verified. None given. Cough syrup prescribed. Less than 12 hours later off to urgent care. Flu test given, and voila….flu verified. Medicine given. Thank you urgent care! Mr Schultz has the well-baby routine down pat .Period. From my past experience go somewhere else if your child has ANY issue. You will only be delaying the needed care and attention your child deserves. BTW…his staff is courteous, has a sense of humor….and they smile. Another review said, “he was dull, had no passion for his career, could care less.” So spot on!

Dr. Schulz has been my doctor my entire life. He was there when I was born and I trust him as much as I could any person. He answers calls at home (when on call) and will go in to meet patients in the E.R. after hours and on weekends. Will not prescribe unnecessary medication. Some people are put off by how he will sometimes give a blunt answer to a hard question or sensitive question; you just have to ask yourself if a sugar-coating, word-mincing physician is what you value. Doctor Schulz could easily schedule more people in each day and make more money, but he doesn't so that he can spend more time with patients and parents. He's straight edge, responsible, and likes to play tennis.

I have always been pleased with Dr. Schulz because he is always available. If I am not able to get in touch with him, there is always a dr on call. I am never in the office more than 30 minutes. There is hardly ever a wait time. The staff is wonderful as well and always makes us feel welcome!!!

Dr. Schulz is wonderful! He is to the point but if there is a problem he tells you what it is then he explains how he will fix it. He is very caring about his patients and wants to be sure your baby is healthy :) i would definately recommend him highly!

My son had a rare form of viral encephalitis. It was very scary, but Dr. Schultz and his staff were wonderful through the whole ordeal. Happily everything turned out okay!

Dr. Schulz has been our pediatrician for almost 17 years. He has seen all eight of our children. He has met us at the ER and at his office after hours and on the weekends. He isn't the most gregarious or charismatic doctor out there, but my children have always loved him. He is calm and courteous, listens to the parents, and he does not give out medicine just to mask symptoms. He respects our choices as parents regarding vaccinations and other treatments, and he is always willing to discuss our options with us and is not rude when we do not choose the traditional methods. His staff is excellent about phone consultations. This doctor has earned our trust and our business. We love Dr. Schulz!

He acted as if he could care less and that he was rushing to get us out of there!!! He was dull. Had no passion for his carreer!! When he sees a child his tone should be excited to make child feel calmer and well liked, but its not its more or less a bored tone!

Dr. Schulz has looked after my daughter since 1994 and my son since 1996. Always a very good experience. We have felt very fortunate to have him look after our kids.

Dr. Schulz saw our son as an infant after several other doctors had dismissed his symptoms. He took time to listen to our concerns and followed up with us several times. The staff at his office were wonderful with my son and put him at ease as soon as we entered the office. We now live several hours away but are more than willing to make the drive to Dr. schulz's office if needed, and we have.

My daughter was very sick & had to take her to the emergency room. This doctor sent her home without finding out what was wrong with her. Had to take her back & forth to the doctor & emergency room for 7 days. With the guidance of my mother-in-law, gave up on this so called doctor. Went to another emergency room & they correctly diagnosed what was wrong & within a couple of days, she was feeling much better.
