Dr. Kurt Allen Wever, MD

Is more concerned about doing his “part” to stop the opioid epidemic than helping an 80 yr old woman on morphine for 40 years for arthritis. Granted she should never been put on it BUT she was and at 80, she doesn’t need to go through withdrawal! That could be very dangerous to her! Dr Wever is irresponsible and is more concerned with his prescription stats than the individual patient.

I have not found a more compassionate, caring and exceptional Doctor who always takes the time to explain in detail my health concerns.

He is in the field because he cares and wants to help patients. He has amazing bed side manner and is a wealth of information and knowledge. Couldn't find a better doc!

I think Dr. Wever's office is great. He is practical and thorough, has a great bedside manner and doesn't "push" any one type of treatment.

Not just a Doc. but gives the feeling of family. Best Doctor I have ever had.

Dr. Kurt A. Weaver, formerly of the Cripple Creek, CO Health Clinic, completely misdiagnosed my sister's stage 4 lung cancer. When presented with her symptoms of chronic and serve cough, intense body pain and her history of smoking he diagnosed her with bronchitis. At a follow up appointment he advised her that the bronchitis was gone. 20 days later my sister was dead. Not only did she have a massive tumor in her left lung, the lung itself had completely atrophied and cancer had spread through out all of her bones. My sister was only properly diagnosed when her hip, weakened by cancer, fractured and she sought emergency treatment at a hospital at which time they not only discovered her grave condition but the delayed diagnosis effectively eliminated all treatment options for her. Kurt Weaver is a poor excuse for a doctor and should not ever be allowed to practice medicine in Colorado or elsewhere.

I had two instances when this office was very hard to get a hold of for appointments. I also had several times when my insurance was billed for me calling in for an appointment, when no service was given that day except them answering the phone. Long waits for appointments was also very regular.

Want to push you in and out as quick as can. Gave me an allergic medicine that is flagged on my records I am allergic to without my knowledge or approval. First apologetic and later joked about it. Causing me months of hospitalization. Now I am a nuisance to him.
