He is very patient and understanding. I couldn't ask for a better doctor!

Having 5 spinal surgeries, multiple styles of treatments and dealing with consequences of them all since and early age, and I am now in my senior years, I think I do have a very good comprehension of my conditions and the physiological issues that are caused by them. I am not a doctor but I am a medical professional who has had anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, functional anatomy and behavioral health education. With all the Surgeons, Physiatrists, Physical Therapists, and Neurologists I have encountered through these past 50 years I have only one other time been so arrogantly treated as I have been by Kush Goyal. His bedside manner presents as an egotistically, arrogant know it all. I was unable to finish many of my sentences without him providing the ending (incorrectly). I was told I didn't not know what I was talking about. He told me he did injections better than another doctor, one of his colleagues, which I know for a fact was not true, that doctor never hit my bone when… injecting me as Goyal did twice. I agree with the above comments, He became more dismissive and angry with me the more I questioned his treatment recommendations. Will not go back, even though he is a stones throw away.

As a patient of his, I trusted Dr Goyal for years, despite the fact that Ihe began minimizing my symptoms and pain levels. Because of my EDS, I do a lot of research on medical issues that accompany it. As I got worse, so did his behavior toward me. I am being treated like a seeker even though I am only on one Rx. He has outright lied to me about several issues I have, and even went as far as telling me that "I am looking for things to be wrong with me, & am only going to find myself a big problem." Goyal ignored 2yrs of my requests for bracing to decrease scoliosis pain & support my spine. I'm disabled and after receiving a 2nd & 3rd opinion, I now have permanent nerve damage, am in need of multiple surgeries to fix my spine, correcting a "shift" @ L5-S1, Radiculopathy, Spinal stenosis, Spondylolisthesis, Degenerative Discs, Cervical Instability, and systemic neuropathy issues. I recommend avoiding this "specialist" at all costs. He has taken my functional life away from me, and it… was not discovered by me until just recently, after almost 5 years as his patient. I am only in my early 40s, and a widowed parent of multiple children.

He is very arrogant and full of himself. Dismisses my drive time to see him at Lutheran as opposed to a closer Clinic facility.

Dr. Goyal was very unprofessional. Not only did he curse during the appointment, he was more interested in what I've paid for previous surgeries than in my pain. He made me feel stupid for ever having past surgeries while failing to understand that I am just desperately trying to find relief from severe chronic pain. He had absolutely no sympathy for the pain I am in or the effect my pain has had on a career I have worked ten years to build. Dr. Goyal made me feel ridiculous for not being able to do my job right now and looked at me like I was an idiot when I explained that I have to pick and choose a light chore each day because of the pain. Even though the imaging clearly shows issues that would look painful to a person with no medical Background, he treated me like I was being a big baby. I drove 4 hours and paid for a hotel because I had hope that Dr. Goyal might understand my condition. I left feeling hopeless and defeated.

I consulted with Dr. Goyal about a serious injury to the spine. He spent quiet a bit of time talking about how wonderful he his. He told me that he would do only one epidural because he is so good with a needle that if the one didn't work, other injections were useless. No way would I let this doctor near my spine. He failed to listen to the answers to his own questions and went far afield. Don't waste your time or money.

First facet injection relief 2 weeks - second identical injection relief 2 days. If this doesn't work, we'll try that, then the other, then something else. Very egotistical.
