Dr. Kusum Vasudeva, MD

Today was my first visit with Dr. Vasudeva. She was personable, made me feel comfortable and at ease from the start. The examination was thorough and she was careful to get as much information as possible from me as well as give me as much information as she could, which I appreciate. Rather than target solely the gynecological area, she seems to care for whole health, which I also appreciate.

My 21 year old daughter was seeing Dr. Vasudeva and was having trouble communicating with her so I called her to help with the situation first she would not speak to me because my daughter did not sign a paper saying that the Dr. could speak to me even though she asked the Dr. to speak with me and asked the Dr. to do a three way call the Dr. still would not speak to me. Then she did a procedure that was very painful and not necessary. Dr. Vasudeva kept giving my daughter a prescription for the birth control pill which my insurance company would not cover I asked her to give me one that is covered she told me to ask the insurance company and I told her that the insurance company told me the Dr. has to do that she told me that she could not help me and that maybe my daughter should find another Dr. She is very rude and never gets back to you when you call. I would not recommend this Dr.

Dr Vasudeva is very thorough and I never feel rushed when I see her. She listens to all my concerns, checks my records asking me questions about my health and makes sure I am current on all my tests. Once I had what I thought was an emergency and I was able to get an appointment right away. I highly recommend her.

Dr V,, Unfortunately, DR V, looks and types more at computer than she looks at patient. Perhaps, this must done but she be transcribed at a later time. maybe speaking into a recorder///

Very thorough in diagnosis - overly cautious with any suspicion of problem. Huge comfort level.

I have heard that DR Kusum vasudeva is a good doctor.But it is very hard to get appointment for her even if it is an emergency for first time patients.It is very sad.Even after talking to the patient about situation no appointment since i have'nt seen that doctor before.Bad experience.
