Dr. Kwame Brenya Obeng, MD

Very combative and does not listen to patient issues when hospitalized. Appears in patients room and doesn't identify his role as a hospital physician. Does not do anything to make the patient feel comfortable with hospital proceedures instead tells patient that hospital stay may be prolonged for days just to receive an ultrasound because of backup in radiology. Then prescribes medication without consulting with patient or patients chart containing medications patient is taking. Pharmacist gives me a stern warning not to take the medication prescribed by Obeng since it will cause serious issues with medication for high blood pressure I have been taking for years and was on my medical record which evidently he did not bother to review. Patient beware. He needs training in patient care and communication. What a "quack".

Dr. Obeng was a very good doctor.
