Dr. Cologne is extremely good at explaining the situation and how they corrected it. I only had pain for the first day after the procedure. I wish that I had done this years ago. The team was as good as the doctor in my experience.

My entire experience with Dr. Cologne and ALL of his staff could not have been any better! All questions, concerns, and procedures were answered with great detail and patience. As I live very far away from Los Angeles, it was very gratifying for me that Dr. Cologne consulted me via TeleCARE so I only had to travel to USC just for the surgery. The Hospital stay was very complete with his very competent and friendly team. All the floor nurses were outstanding. My sincere gratitude to Dr. Cologne and all his team at USC/KECK! I would definitely recommend him to family and friends!

I have now had 4 abdominal surgeries due to Crohns related issues and the first 3 were extremely difficult recoveries. This last surgery however was completely different. The #1 reason for this I believe was because I had Dr. Cologne as my surgeon. Instead of the recovery time in the hospital being 2+ weeks as it was in the past, I was on my way home exactly one week from surgery day and was driving and completely back to normal by week 2. The pain control this time around was also incredible. I was on less than half the dose of dilauded than I had in the past and was completely off of IV medication 5 days after surgery. All in all, I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Cologne and his team and would highly recommend him to anyone who might be needing colorectal surgery.
