This doctor told me that I had a sign on my head that attracted abusers because I was abused as a child. Later told me the abuse I remember is not real? She went from religions to other types of therapy to yoga in the time I saw her and never stayed with one method long. Also hard to get appointments

She refused our insurance - even though she is a preferred provider with BCBS! We paid her full price (like idiots). She owes us money and should be removed as a preferred provider!

As another reviewer said - overwhelmed. She often forgot important pieces of information about me and seemed like her mind was scattered in all different directions during sessions. Its nearly impossible to get frequent appointments and almost every session was interrupted by her looking at her phone which she keeps on the arm of her chair.

This was my first time experiencing therapy so I didn't really know what would have been considered unusual. After some time with another therapist, and sharing my experiences with friends, I realize I should have trusted my intuition more. She clearly had a lot of trouble juggling her personal and professional life. As a working mom I tried to sympathize; but when she started cancelling appointments and failing to reschedule them right away, I suspected we were in trouble. She really needed to stop taking on new patients, because her books were always full. A lot of the time I was only able to get an appointment with her once a month, which makes it impossible to get any traction in the early stages. During that 45-minute session once a month you'd start it by spending 5 minutes processing payment, followed by another 5-7 trying to get on her calendar for your next appointment. You were really only getting about 30 minutes of therapy once a month. Wasteful. The day I knew I… had to get help elsewhere was when, after over a year of seeing me she asked me again what religion I observed. She couldn't even go back in her notes for such a basic part of my personality. I did give her two stars because she was, actually, very warm and you felt like you could trust her to share your feelings - which is nothing to sneeze at.

Shares way too much personal information. I heard about her abusive husband, her personal medical issues, and details about her sex life. We had some really good sessions which did help me but overall she has too much going on in her personal life and she can’t keep it separated from working with clients.
