Dr. Lakshmi Krishnamurthi, MD

Dr. Krish is a very efficient doctor in the town.I had been going to her office for the past 11 years. I always felt that I don't even need a PCP as she is very thorough in her physical examinations. Always recommend her even though the wait time is long.

Very knowledgeable, board certified and very thorough with her assessment of your health, but you may have to wait. She is old school, writes a whole page of history, evaluates you treatment closely and will lay down the law with your meds, and if you need to loose weight. Dr. Krishna still manages to have a great bedside manner. I like her office staff, but at times 1 of them is visibly stressed. The other MA is fast and friendly. I have been to many endocrinologists in this city, and sometimes have been called the wrong TSH, with subsequent negative medication & health repercussion. The wheels may turn a little slowly at this office due to the number of patients, and her face-to-face time, but it is well worth it if you want superb care.

Youre going to read reviews about how thorough she is well let me tell you that part is truth.. however the other 20 people waiting in the cramped lobby for over 3 hours arent so happy if you arent first appointment. After so much aggravation with the horrible staff i had enough. last straw was when she prescribed androgel to me for low T.. I reported to her on 2 visits i was having some kind of reaction and i was having heart palpitations every time i used it. she laughed at me and stated " it doesnt do that, you dont know how it works" I stopped taking it on my own regardless of her recommendation... 6 month later i see stories on tv of people suffering heart attacks from this garbage and it was banned. nice research there lady... and maybe you should listen to your patients.. they might know a little something as well.

I think Dr. Krish is great! she takes great care of her patients. However some of her staff needs to be nicer and more accurate.

I like Dr. Krish - she is very thorough but her staff is very disorganized it seems - I had an email confirmation of an appointment on a Sunday and I showed up to a closed office..i was called on a thursday by her office with no message - i called back 3 times and no callback to me - the next day the office girl stated her computer system did that and then proceeded to blame me for the mixup stating she and 2 other staff had tried to contact me (really?)- it was 1 call with no message. they also claimed i didnt show up for 2 previous appts i never scheduled with them nor did they call me or email me about any of them - they are hopeless and costing Dr krish patients. Dont even think about getting an appointment thats not the first of the day or you will wait... a very long time - all that aside Dr Krish is an awesome Endocrinologist and very thorough with her interactions of patients and courteous but the time really adds up for those waiting. she is trying to improve though... i think… it goes against her grain to rush her practice.

My hudband has been there 2 times. The intial appointment was fine we thought she was really going to help us from the way it sounded. The second appointment she was supposed to review his blood results with him so we would know where to go from there. He went in for no reason because she didn't even have the blood work in yet. she could have had her staff call us instead of him driving one hour to get there and then WAIT THREE hours just to see her for NOTING. It has been well over THREE weeks and we still havent heard from her. We have called every day and can't get in touch with anyone at the office!! What are their office hours?? We sure dont have a clue. Where do we go from here?? We sure don't know!!!! We need some help and this obviosuly isn't helping us at all!!

Inept office staff,towers of files stacked carelessly,hours of wait time show total disregard for patients, especially diabetics,,bring a lunch.

Dr. Krishnamurthi is a wonderful doctor,altho the time I have to wait to see her is not acceptable nor is the rudeness of her staff. Its sad that due to those factors I will be changing my care to another MD

She spends time with you and listens to what you have to say. She is very thorough and follows up well.
