Dr Shukla has been taking care of my Husband for over a yr now . He is the most caring , professional ,and knowledgeable Dr that I have ever seen . I definitely credit him for saving my Husbands life . His staff are also polite and professional .

Experience, caring, humility are three traits I would describe Dr. Shukla. He takes the time with each patient to fully help them understand the nature of the illness and the measures to bring one back to health. For the many patients he has helped he is the definition of what a Doctor should be.

Knowledgeable guy who suffers from asthma himself, so he literally understands your discomfort. He talks with you as if you are a colleague. Most asthmatics and COPD subjects are conversant with their condition and want the straight dope from the doctor, with all the latest news in the lung world. Shukla gives that.

Dr. Shukla is a brilliant diagnostician. I trust him with my life and that of my family.He takes enormous time to explain his findings and even takes time to draw diagrams and pictures for a fuller understanding of what he is explaining. So very kind and so very talented. I never hesitate to recommend him because I know he will immediately get to the heart of any patient's problem. He's truly a fine physician. He makes you feel like you are the most important person in the world while you are in his presence. He makes me feel safe.

Dr. Shukla has been my pulmonary doctor since 1994. He has seen me a multitude of times for a variety of reasons. He is caring, compassionate and infinitely capable. I am quite sure the one negative review (regarding a feeding tube) is NOT about the Dr. Shukla I am writing about. Having lived in developing countries I have some unusual symptoms. Dr. Shukla listens carefully to what I share and has always come up with a solution. I would recommend him to anyone needing an excellent, caring pulmonologist. I believe Dr. Shukla truly cares about his patients. He is a doctor who does not seem to follow his profession for the monetary gain it offers, but because he wants to see us healthy. I wish he could be my internist!
