Don’t select her as your PCP

As a nurse, I know the routine of assessments and how a doctor should perform one. Dr. Sivasankar didn't do ANY part of a physical except listen to my lungs. She is not thorough at all, and always thinks it is my first time meeting her. She would never catch if something were actually wrong with me. She seems in a daze when talking to me, and I found it unprofessional. I've never had a doctor walk in with a cup of coffee and pay more attention to the coffee... but I will be looking elsewhere.

Worse doctor i have ever had... gave me incorrect results not once but twice. Takes for ever to get back to your emails or calls (what’s the point in having an email system or phone system)... doesn’t pay attention in the room. I have seen her a few time and every time i go she acts as though it’s the first time we have met. I am not expecting her to remember me but at least read my chart and stop asking is this the first time we have met!! Awful awful.. steer clear of this clinician!

When I came as a new patient I had a medication I had been taking for years that worked and she refused to refill it unless I tried other medications. I did, and I suffered while trying all these others, and then she finally refilled my original medication and I was fine again. She frequently tried to get me to try new medications and did not listen to me, so I stopped going to her.

Does not spend enough time, and cuts corners when performing phsyicals. I'm in my 40's and like to make it to my 80's. She's not going to catch any subtle/underlying concerns. Use for routine issues only.

Dr. Sivasankar will definitely spend time with you & will think "outside the box" which is a nice change from narrow minded physicians I've had before. However, there is NO follow up after appointments. You have to call and hound her and the office for test results. My husband saw her for a physical and after seeing her, having labs, having x-ray for hip, and supposed to schedule a sleep study - He NEVER heard from the office again. He's decided to go elsewhere. Can't say I blame him - I'm about ready to as well. She could be a wonderful physician if her organizational skills and office staff matched up to the amount of caring she does have.
