Dr. Lamia Kamel Botros, MD

I’ve been seeing Dr Botros for almost a year now. She never keeps me waiting, is always genuinely concerned about what I say and how I’m feeling. If I need her between appointments she is always quick to respond to my text. She is doing a great job with my medications and adjusting them accordingly . Her fees are fair and It’s very obvious that she does this because she cares. I’ve seen several other psychiatrist because of moves, retiring... and I can honestly say Dr Botros is the best! I highly recommend her.

Dr. Botros is absolutely wonderful! I've been seeing Dr. Botros once a week for over 6 years. She's been the best psychiatrist that I've seen. Unlike other psychiatrists, as soon as I said I did not like the medication I was on, she worked with me to find the right medications, including doing genetic testing for psychiatric medications, until we figured out what worked best for me. Dr. Botros is also great with psychotherapy. She knows how to ask the right questions and keep the conversation going, even when I went into the session thinking I had nothing really to discuss. Dr. Botros offers practical advice and detailed feedback. She is able to understand me in an empathetic, non-judgmental way. She also gave me great coping strategies and cognitive behavioral therapy treatment for my severe insomnia. Dr. Botros is very flexible with having to reschedule or cancel appointments. She is also quick to reply to text messages and calls even during the middle of the night. The cost per… session without insurance is much more affordable than I had to pay in the past. Overall, Dr. Botros is an amazing psychiatrist and just a delightful person in general. I would definitely recommend Dr. Botros to everyone, especially if you have had bad experiences with other doctors in the past.

Don't waste time, find another Dr. Doesn't use sliding scale. Only wants your money.
