Dr. Lance Alan Besner, MD

Nice guy, listens well, but I would not suggest him. He gave me much higher dosages than I should’ve had. I had him as a temporary psychiatrist while I went to school in Erie. I was in such high dosages that when I went home, the psychiatrists here had to detox me off these addictive drugs. He really does seem to care, I just don’t agree with the medicine he suggested for me.

I had been seeing him for quite sometime ago, I love him, if I feel like I had a bad month we take time and talk about it...I'm a very upfront person and he can tell when I get the fire in my eyes...I'm able to tell someone off in a second...Only Dr. Besner has been able to get to the root of my problem. excellent. Also his new assistant that checks you out an in (Linda) is so very nice to meet with for information and a card for the next appointment...I think some people come in here and want them to say now this is your diagnosis...it doesn't go like that, you have to open up and tell him your concerns...As far as the drug Xanax, there is none better...it has helped me immensely. Yep I can't wait until it's time to go see Doctor Besner, and Linda, God Bless them both...

he knew i was on pain meds and perscribed zanax in large doses on top of a variety of antidrepressants , his wife ,the office staff is incompotent. i have a new doctor and am off of zanax and working with a pain management center .i have so much more clarity and am thankful i made it threw without losing my life no thanks to dr. besner.

too much yelling by staff at patients,insurance issues even pharmacies.

Dr. Besner very skilled. He has a solid academic back ground and keeps up with the latest information. He is calm and soft spoken...and spends time with folks. Every time I visit I leave feeling better and trusting his direction.

Amazing doctor who truly understands his patients suffering. No words can describe how greatful I am for his guidance and understanding.

My condition has dramatically improved since treating with Dr. Besner. Feel like a new person. He cares. Gradually gets you off the meds if you don't need them. Not a keep-em-coming-back kind of doctor. If you want to be healed, this is the place for you.
