Dr. Lance E. Oxford, MD

Dr. Oxford's Office got me right in to see him with concerns of possible cancer. Everyone was helpful. Dr. Oxford was so wonderful. He knew immediately what my problem was and gave me a treatment plan. I highly recommend him.

I have never left a review for a doctor. I feel compelled to warn others before you schedule with this Dr. His office and staff are absolutely incompetent. I work in healthcare and I know the behind the scenes. I have the skills to navigate the system and still I have worked so hard to get simple things. The whole experience is an unnecessary nightmare. After weeks and multiple voicemails, I finally get a person and they state they had not even looked for my test results. The person looked up the results while I was on the phone. This happened with 2 different tests. Then the referral to another Dr takes almost 2 weeks. And to top it off- the referral is incomplete and the Dr will not schedule my appointment. I am sick or I would not be seeing Dr. Oxford. Weeks of severe pain with no help. I am now having to get a referral through another Dr so I can pursue treatment. I cannot recommend this Dr or his office. If you are sick- go somewhere else.

Aug 2014 had a knot come up in my neck and they could not figure it out so after much Prayer ended up at Lance Oxfords office. He biopsy and found cancer. He called me personally that night told me to come back up to pull a piece off of it and do a real biopsy. Within a week he had figured out a plan I am cancer free last month 5 years Thanks Doc Timmy Quick

I stupidly took Dr. Oxford's word for it that a gland in my cheek could not be removed and I lived with some serious pain for 19 years. I finally sought a second opinion after Dr. Oxford became increasingly dismissive of me and I started hearing stories from acquaintances about his partner being verbally abusive to patients who mentioned the political stuff he displayed in the office. I am so glad I did! I had the gland removed without issue and my new doctor is wonderful. Dr. Oxford started out great, very nice, but he changed substantially as the years passed. Did I do something? Say something? I suppose it's possible, but I doubt it. So, he may be OK for some people, but if he is dismissive of you or tells you to just "live with it," seek another doctor.

Dr. Oxford was a Godsend for me; he is straightforward and explains things in laymen's terms; he does not pull punches and tells you exactly what is going on in terms you can understand. He is compassionate and never talks "down" to you. He got me through some tough times and surgery. I could not recommend him any higher. I trust him with my life. He is the real deal!

Thank you Doctor Oxford for repairing this Zenker's Diverticulum that has bothered me for five years. I have had five other surgeries on this that did not work. The first ENT that done surgery on this was awful ! He punched a hole in my esophagus CV during surgery. Glad a Waco ENT referred me to you. You are the best ENT in Texas ! I just had Dr Oxford remove a tumor from my cheek. Even though we met once I truly repeat his professionalism. He is awesome!

Very professional doctor. He took time to listen and answer questions about diagnosis. He was very through compassionate and caring at all visits hospital and follow treatment. Answered every question to my understanding not using big medical terms.

Dr. Oxford is a no nonsense, excellent Doctor. I have been going to him since my diagnosis of vocal cord cancer. He's very cordial but professional and I trust him.
