I usually try not to write a negative review based on one bad experience, but it only took ONE visit with her to.know she is absolutely not a good fit for me. Yesterday, I had.my first appt at a new UHS Converse location where she is apparently the only.provider as an NP. She came in the room very serious and I explained to her why I was there. I also mentioned why I left my previous Dr. and apparently she knew that Dr. and got defensive over her. I also mentioned how another Dr. (a specialist) from that same clinic read me someone else's very concerning lab results making me think I had stage 4 congestive heart failure to explain to her why I don't have a lot of trust in Dr.'s these days. To my shock, she actually cut me off to tell.me that the Dr who made the error she knows personally and that Dr is very sick. She said it in a manner that suggested I should be ashamed of myself for holding against her the fact that I literally thought about living wills and having to break the news… to my kids because of her mistake. She also seemed to have a hard time following what I was saying and had to bring in a medical assistant to listen in. She asked.me THREE times what I was there for and I.kept having to say routine care and lab work. Besides, it's also on my check in questionairre AND the MA's notes.

Her bedside manner is horrible! I had an appointment at 10 in the morning and I wasn't even called by her for the telemedicine visit until almost 2 in the afternoon. I had a visit with her due to a chronic ear infection for three weeks that was not getting better with two rounds of antibiotics and I was noticing a decrease in my hearing. She did not listen to any of my concerns or offer any alternatives to treatment from what I was already doing! Everything she that she wanted me to do I had done already and explained that to her. She refused to give me a referral to an ENT to get examined.
