please, if you have a foot or ankle issue, see this doc. i've seen more doctors than I can possibly count over the years for my poor feet and ankles, and none of them ever really did much except get me in, get me out and give me an expensive brace or shot that didn't fix my problems. fast forward like 15 years and I finally get referred by my primary doc to see Dr. Rudner. what a relief! I finally have a treatment plan, and am sooooo much better. we did discuss surgery, but I decided i'm not ready for it, but he gave me several things to do and use and i'm lightyears better than i've been in years. going on walks with friends for the first time literally in years! why couldn't I have met this doc sooner?! so thankful i'm now in his care. I recommend him to everyone now.

I had ankle surgery with another doctor 3 years ago and they totally messed me up. I've been in pain for 3 years. I finally found Dr. Rudner. He knew right away what they did wrong and he fixed me! No pain after 3 years of misery! Back to playing sports and everything. Life is good again. So glad I found this doctor.

My foot surgery with Dr Rudner has been a nightmare. The screws kept coming out and I finally had to have another surgeon remove all the hardware. 3 years of pain and 3 surgeries and worse now than prior to Rudners surgery.

I have been having terrible pain and tingling and burning in my feet for just over a year. I went to two podiatrists who didn't help me at all with all the injections they did on my feet. Rudner said he knew why I was having the pains and burning. It was due to my high arches and tight calves. He had me get some orthotic inserts off of Amazon that cost $45 (compared to the $500 ones the podiatrists tried to get me to buy) and he took the time to teach me how to do some stretches on my own. He made an appointment for me to come back to see him 4 weeks later and said he thought I should be at least mostly better by then if I was good about using the orthotics and doing my stretches that he taught me every day. Well, I did just what he said and today was my 4 week appointment. And guess what, I have no pain! It's been just over a year that I've been miserable and he fixed me in one month, and all I had to do was pay my copay, get some $45 orthotics and stretch! compared to the hundreds of… dollars the podiatrists were charging me every time I went in, with their expensive injections of this and that (PRP, cortisone, dextrose) and their $500 orthotics, Rudner was awesome! so glad I found him!

I went to this doctor because I had a burning sensation in my right foot, specifically in the last three toes. It was very intense and I could barely walk by the end of each day. Rudner took some x-rays but had no idea what the problem was. Literally had no idea. After about 45 minutes of talking he assumed that the problem was because 1) I had high arches and 2) I had tight calves 3) I was rolling my feet when I walked. So he suggested that I buy some $100 insoles on Amazon and start doing calf stretches each day. I bought the insoles and stretched everyday (and paid a few hundred dollars to Rudner) but after three months, the pain worsened to the point where it was absolutely excruciating. I called and talked to the receptionist and told them about the pain and asked if Rudner would please call me. She insisted that I had to make another appointment (and pay another office fee), but also promised that Rudner would call. But he never did. The pain increased even more and I called… back everyday for weeks to make an appointment, but they NEVER returned my call. I now have to look for another doctor. RUDNER SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING MEDICINE. HE IS AN EMBARRASSMENT TO HIS PROFESSION

wow. dr rudner is not only brilliant, competent and attentive - he was punctual, considerate, flexible, concerned and the whole staff was just on it. plus their follow up is incredible. don't go anywhere else.

This doctor helped me and other people in my family so much. We are so grateful he worked in our little town in Nebraska—North Platte. He fused my ankle after another doctor botched my broken ankle. I was in so much pain until he fixed me. Now i lost 30 pounds and am such a happy person. I have my life back. And he fixed my mom’s broken hip after she fell on the ice. She got better so much faster than we thought she would, compared to what our friends were telling us about their family who broke their hip. He is such a kind and nice doctor. We are sad to hear from the hospital he went to Maine to study with a famous doctor there. The hospital told us they tried to hire him back but he moved back to his family. Sad we don’t have him in our town any more, but so grateful he was here to fix us. Thank you so much Dr. Rudner! Good luck in California!

I have seen 4 previous foot & ankle specialists prior to seeing Dr. Rudner. I kept getting the runaround and I felt like none of the doctors was truly understanding my problem. The other doctors were all very dismissive of my complaints of pain and seemed more interested in my X-rays and MRI than in talking to me and in examining my foot and ankle. It was such a breath of fresh air coming to see Dr. Rudner. His staff and facilities were all excellent. He actually listened to me and actually cared about how my problems were affecting my life. He took way more time that all my previous doctors to examine my ankle and foot. He ended up recommending I get a custom orthotic before jumping into a major surgery. He said the orthotic would probably make me mostly better, and not all the way better, and he was right, and together we had decided that was the best course of action at this time, based on everything else that's going on in my life right now. He discussed with me the surgery that… I'll almost certainly need some time in the future, but we agreed that now is not the time, for me. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Rudner. Do yourself a favor and come see him and his team. They are all such wonderful people.

My son has been battling an ankle injury for several months. our previous orthopedic surgeon was pushing us to have surgery. we saw dr. rudner for a second opinion. he explained in great detail why he was making the diagnosis he gave my son, and why this definitely did NOT need surgery. he wrote out specific instructions for the physical therapist. now my son is back on the varsity basketball team, playing the best he's ever played, and he won't miss out on his senior year season because he had an unnecessary surgery the previous surgeon wanted to do because he misdiagnosed my son. so happy we went to see dr. rudner.

Very pleased with the treatment I received and the exellent result I got with my surgery.
