I am so grateful to Dr. Schwartzfarb. He accurately diagnosed me after years of suffering. I was so apprehensive about seeing yet another specialist, but he is knowledgeable, caring, and listens to me. He takes his time- most doctors do not. He genuinely cares about his patients, as does his staff. I wish I could give him 10 stars. With his guidance I can enjoy life again. Thank you Dr. Schwartzfarb!

I think I was on my 11th second opinion when I finally found Dr. Schwartzfarb. I was becoming frightened that nobody would figure out what was going on with me. Dr. Schwartzfarb had the patience to listen to everything I had to say and then he had questions of his own. The time, care and consideration he afforded me was unbelievable. He took a slew of tests and left no stone unturned until he figured this out and set up a course of treatment which has literally changed my life! I cannot thank him enough. He is truly a remarkable doctor!

Dr. Schwartzfarb was the worst appointment I've ever had with a doc. He was 25 min late to work. Called me in after 45 min of waiting. He would not pull of my X-rays which were on a CD because "that just takes too long." He would not answer any of my questions...AT ALL. He wanted to write down every word and wasted so much time. During the examination, he seemed annoyed and told me that I was doing everything wrong. He did not have good communication skills. When he was talking, he appeared to be talking to himself, certainly not me. He gave off the vibe that I was annoying him and he was doing me a huge favor. I don't believe any of the reviews below. They do not seem as though they are coming from the same doctor. He left the room without ever saying goodbye or shaking my hand. He did not tell me what the next steps were, instead his nurse told me that he would call me in 6 weeks. What kind of service is that? At the end, the nurse would not listen to the number of the pharmacy I was… using, and send my prescription to the Upper West Side. It was a terrible experience. Do not go!1

I have been a patient of Dr.Swartzfarb for 15 years,when I first became sick with Lupus, I seen a Doctor in the Hospital where I worked,and this doctor kept me out of work for 2 months giving me test after test,had me on a medication that kept me sleeping most of the time,unable to give me a diagnoisis of my symptoms. I was recommended to Dr, Swartzfarb by a friend.Upon me calling I was given an appointment in two days,I spent 3 hours in Dr. swartzfarb office,he took a few tests and x-rays, When my results were ready he called me back into his office,explained what I had and said when do you want to go back to work? I thought he was insane,while I was having all this pain,so I answered like two months ago, with his kind face said today is Friday Iam gonig to give you these prescription,start them immediately and I will give you a letter to return to work on Monday.i asked if they were pain killers he replied no and explained in detail how they were going to work for me, I left doubting… that I was going to be able to return to work so soon,But!!!!! by Saturday evening I was a new person and returned to work that Monday.Dr. Swartzfarb gained my confidence and trust and till today he still attends to me with the same wonderful bedside manners and caring attention,still explains things in detail and always wants to hear what I am feeling,where and how,never rushes me out of his office,and keeps notes on everything I complain about,soooo when ever I return to see him sometimes a year later he goes over what I was last there for and wants to know about my progresss,then its time for ..what am I there for today.He has helped me live with my illness gracefully. One of the most excellent Doctor I ever met. He is my God on earth lol love him to death I have recommended him to many people and who ever has not gone to him, it is there lost in more than one way.Dr, swartzfarb is a major asset to this proffession.and a blessing to people that are ill. God Bless Him
