A very good guy, I have know him from my days working as a security in Cabrini Hospital,. Happy as ever, and always willing to go the extra mile for all.

Dr. Larry Bishop is an extraordinary physician. He treats our mother as a human being rather than just another patient, with respect and dignity. He's been her primary care physician for the past 5 years and has impressed us with his level of care. Dr. Bishop is flexible with appointments. He is genuinely caring,attentive, compassionate and very knowledgeable of any new trends in medicine and treatment. He's also very thorough in his examinations. I wish other physicians had his qualities.

I've been a patient of Dr. Bishop for over a year and I'm highly satisfied. He is clearly knowledgeable in his field and always takes the time to listen and explain and put the patient at ease. He has demonstrated on several occasions his willingness to go out of his way to assist in my care. I would not at all hesitate to recommend Dr. Bishop to anyone looking for an internist in New York.

As a salesmen I have had to relocate several times, as part of my job. I had never lived in a city like New York and am very particular about my physician, I have only seen him two times, however I know that as long as I am in New York, I don't have to look around for another physician which can be very stressful. Our first meeting, I could tell that Dr. Bishop was both intelligent and an easy person to get along with. These are two traits that are very important to me, as of course I want to feel comfortable and receive proper medical attention. The second time going to see Dr. Bishop for a follow up on a rash (that even a Dermatologist couldn't even seem to help me with) and a slight altercation in my medication, which has been working out very well. I was having a very tough day and we had an appointment around 6pm. I use a money clip and had lost my money and didn't have any time to go get the full amount to cover our visit. Well, that day kept getting worse… and I had to keep telling the Doc, should be about 10 more minutes. He patiently waited even though his day was over and didn't make me feel anxious about my tardiness as he knew that I was trying to leave for California. I figured because I was so late, he would not want to spend too much time with me. I was certainly wrong. I feel as if he would of spent 4 hours making sure everything was okay, so I could enjoy my trip to California, Oh yeah....By the way since I had lost that cash on the streets of New York, Dr. Bishop didn't even want my money. There aren't too many people out there that would refuse your money even after you wasted 3 hours or so of their time. So to sum up my experience with Dr. Larry Bishop thus far, his professionalism, patience, overall care for his patients and expertise has left me extremely happy.

I have had bad allergies my whole life and Doctor Bishop took the time to give me shots every week, while also working around my schedule. He has gone out of his way to help me many times, meeting me at a moments notice, and actually cares about any health problems you may have. He will check back in with you to see if you are feeling better, and I can't think of too many doctors that care enough to do that. Good Doctor and all around good guy!

Great doctor. Had an urgent care matter and he fitted me in his schedule after calling at 3PM on Friday afternoon. Took care of me quickly and thoroughly. Could be happier.

Dr. Bishop was able to properly diagnose my medical condition. He was able to bring me back to full heath almost immediately. He is experienced in his field, and very timely regarding our appointment. I would recommend him, if you are serious able feeling whole again.

Was recommended to Dr. Bishop by a friend when looking for a Physician in NY after recently relocating to Manhattan for work. He was very kind, extremely knowledgeable, and to my surprise, contacted me several times after my visit simply to check on me. In today's world, finding a doctor that does that is unheard of! I highly recommend Dr. Bishop, not only is he brilliant, but well spoken, and actually takes time to listen as well as time to be thorough in the exam. If you prefer being treated like a human, as opposed to a number, then look no farther than this doctor because he actually has compassion for his patients!

I booked a last minute appointment with Dr. Bishop a month ago when I had bronchitis. He got me into his office at 6:30pm on a Tuesday night. So thankful. My doctor on the upper east side told me it would take 3 days. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and kind. I can't express how great my experience was. I've since seen him one other time and will honestly keep using him in the future.
