Dr. Larry Wayne Desch, MD

I want to start by saying I have never left a negative review for anyone in my life, so this is out of my comfort zone to do. More than a negative review I want this more to be a warning. My child had an eval done with this doctor, and my husband and I both left feeling like I wasn’t enough for my autistic child. I believe this doctor really struggles with bedside manner, and appears to be jaded by all of his years in the field. Yet as a parent of a child on the spectrum this is difficult to handle as you are already carrying the weight of the world trying to do your best to provide for your kids needs well. So instead of me pointing out all the frustrations I felt during my appointment I would rather just give a warning to any parents who are going to see him to guard your heart, and try to listen to the wisdom he is trying to offer, but do your best to take his approach with a grain of salt.

Whan i took my son to him he didnt give me any hope that he will be better .he doesnt like to here what im saying i dont knew whats wrong with doctor

Doctor does spend time talking with your child.... but tells you I'll send you a report of my findings. Yeah right. Haven't received any of these said reports. Sent my child for lab work...... hasn't relayed those results either. So to get these flippin results I have to drive 45 minutes each way to sign paperwork to get the results. I am not happy with the services rendered.

Dr. Desch is good at what he does in his special field. Yes, I must say that his bedside manners are a bit rough but it's more on how he approaches his parents: the complete truth! He does not sugar coat what he needs to tell you.

Dr. Desch basically admitted to me that he will not test my son because he does not get paid enough money and I should go to a millionaire doctor. He said I was right when I called him useless.
