Dr Elam is the best. Has seen all 5 of my kids over the years, and he has taken care of them birth thru teenage mayhem! He is great with all ages. Answers all parent questions AND interacts with each child so well. Strongly recommend.

Dr. Elam is one of the most attentive, relatable, educational, compassionate and professional doctors my kids have had. He is prompt, very thorough and covers all problems and topics. He knows how to get teens and children to communicate. Excellent demeanor!! His follow up and knowledge of the kids’ histories shows he knows his patients. I would highly recommend him to any parent!!

Dr. Elam, took care of both my boys in some pretty bad illness, including influenza and RSV. He conducts a very thorough exam, he speaks to you considerately and was able to bring me down a notch when I was nervous. He’s a good listener and seems very engaged and compassionate. His diagnosis and treatment plans are very detailed and he will stay in the room until you have exhausted all of your questions and I do not feel rushed. Ultimately, he has never steered us wrong.

We are so lucky that Dr. Elam was taking patients when we moved here 2 years ago. He is amazing with the kids, very informative, timely and incredibly friendly. 5 stars and then some!

Since relocating to Richmond Hill, we’ve been hesitant about choosing a new pediatrician. We had our first new patient appointment with Dr. Elam and he was great! He listened, was informative, and I really appreciated him speaking to my 12 year old for a majority of the visit instead of just talking about him with me as his parent like most pediatricians tend to do. It made my son feel like he had a voice and he really appreciated that. Would definitely recommend him to others looking!
