He is unstable and misuses his authority, threatening to take away care from those who do not stroke his ego. Stay away!!

Emotionally abusive and self-centered--not what a patient in pain needs!

I don't usually leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others so they can avoid my experience. Before he even introduced himself, the first thing out of his mouth was I "was going to be his guinea pig". He then diagnosed me with a rare, life-changing condition before even starting my exam, but the condition doesn't match any of my symptoms (after doing some independent research). I'm fairly sure he made his diagnosis before even speaking to me, based purely on 20 mins of reviewing my MRI, then confirmation-biased his way to a justification. When he brought me back to again review my MRI, he continually threw out medical jargon without explaining what any of it meant. He then excitedly told me I should contact a research hospital and, by working together with him, it would really be beneficial for his career since he'd be working in cutting edge medicine with such a rare disorder. Second opinions will definitely be sought. There's poor bedside manners, and then there's… getting giddy at the cost of someone's livelihood because it might boost their career. Like I said in the title, I really wish I would have read the reviews first, because then I never would have gone through with the appointment.

Spinal injection in 2012. Been symptom free for 3 yrs. put up with misdiagnosis and improper treatment for over a year and a half in lower 48 . Dr Levine is a magician. A highly competent one for sure.

I cant beleive this doctor is still in business! After being treated so badly...him yelling, ranting, ect... my next appointment i wanted my husband to come, because i was afraid. he refused to let my husband in the room!

Dr Levine is extremely judgmental of his patients, and threatens that everything has to be done his way, or he will fire you as a patient. When dealing with chronic pain, it is scary to think pain management will be yanked away from you if you disagree in any way with this MD. DO NOT GO TO THIS MD. Very judgemental, no bedside manner, and charges in excess for everything.

Only does the things that pay the most, then you get the boot.

I had a lower back steriod shot. He required sedation in a surgery center when it wasn't needed. He said rudely that we either did his way or not at all.I have had this same procedure in the imaging center with a staff doctor for less than 1/3 the cost from him.I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS DOCTOR!

I've been seeing Dr. Levine for over a year. He diagnosed me correctly. Due to my injury being in my neck, we have been conservative care rather than surgery. He has excellent bedside manner. He always takes time with each appointment whether it's a followup or other. I would highly recommend Dr. Levine.

I am extremely unhappy with the poor quality of care he provided. He is very judgmental and I don't believe he cares one bit about what I am going through. I would strongly recommend to find a different doctor if you get referred to Dr. Levine.
