Dr. Larry Keith Levinson, DO

I unfortunately am leaving the Family practice of Dr Levinson due to the ruddiness of the front desk lady, I should have asked for her name but did not. Anyways, called trying to get an annual appointment for my husband, we have been seeing him for a couple years maybe a little longer, and when I ask her if he would have a 9am appointment available she went off on me saying "Everyone works honey" in a superior tone, I stated that I was simply asking and that she was being rude and her answer was oh no I am just very straight forward. There's a difference in being straight forward and rude and this lady was rude so I again brought it to her attention that she was coming across very rude, and she continued saying that she always gets yelled at this and that and the third, so I told her well ma'am you need to be rude to people that do that to you, in this case it was a simple question about the schedule, and she went asking so what date are we looking at and I just thank her and hung up… no dates actually! I want to be treated nice at places we get medical services from. Dr Levinson, my apologies, you're an exceptional professional but will not be seeing me or any member of my family at your practice. Thank you.

*THE DIRTIEST OFFICE EVER* Imagine this: There is a doctor who has been at one office location for over 20 years. Now imagine that he has never cleaned or painted his office...including the bathroom, in his 20 years there. Then add in the fact that there were thousands of manilla folders all over the office because he has not updated to computer. Then imagine ants crawling all over the place. I can't even tell you if he was nice because it was so dirty I couldn't get past it.

I stopped going to Dr. Levinson over two years ago as I had to sit in his waiting room for over an hour. Looking around I found the walls and base boards dirty.Staff was not very nice.Due to the long wait and condition of the office I left. It took over a year to get my $75.00 back because they could not find my medical records which I believe is against state policy. Staff was misleading and rude to both my lawyers and me.

I went to Dr Levinson for almost 20 years. He is caring and his bedside manner is outstanding. He takes a personal interest in his patients.

My next appointment is next week....I have been his patient since i moved from New York to Florida....He is great, i discuss anything with him and he always has the time to listen(very nice to have a doc that listens)......

I HAVE BEEN CALLING BECAUSE I AM ILL. NO ONE ANSWERES AND THEY STAFF IS VERY RUDE.

Dr. Levinson is very professional, through, caring, knowledgable and personable. This opinion is from a retired nurse who knows a professional from a non-professional.Office staff has always treated me with respect and dignity, very courteous and efficent.

Had some problems with getting pain medication. Following directions on prescription simply made the medication run out before next visit and refused to return call. Another Dr. had to call in the prescription for me.

Dr. Levinson listens to your problems and does not make you feel rushed (first visit, anyway),but he has a very outdated office. There is no computerized system for patient charts and information, and the x-ray machine is ancient (staff person told me this), the breathing test equipment is a cardboard tube, the glaucoma test is done on the outside of the eyelid (eyes closed) and some of the staff were not very friendly at all. I would not recommend this office.
