Dr. Larry George Lipscomb, MD

Dr. Lipscomb went over the MRI of my shoulder and explained how the 'tear' will be repaired. He described each section of the MRI thoroughly and answered my questions completely. He explained the dangers of surgery and the necessity to follow instructions post-operatively carefully and the risks of 'not' following the orders and physical therapy completely. He took the time to consult with Dr. Crowley to see if she was able to do the repair arthroscopically. It was decided the tear needed to be done by 'open' surgery and Dr. Lipscomb will do the repair. Dr. Lipscomb was patient, understanding, professional and courteous. I have faith that he will do the repair properly. I do feel that the surgery should be done sooner but understand scheduling is 'tight'. I may also add that I appreciate the VAMC as without the VA I would not be able to afford this surgery.

this was once a promising light for us veterans now he is an obstacle and cant be trusted. If you are a veteran trying to get disability this is not your friend . You will have to get a private doctor to keep him honest as he is just another veterans affairs employee who cares more about his position than the veterans he is paid to serve on our dime.
