Dr. Larry Michael Salberg, MD

Dr. Salberg and his team did an AMAZING job with my family member. I highly recommend him for many reasons. 1) He has seen it all. If you want an answer, he has got it. 2) His bedside manner is fantastic. He has the perfect blend of telling you hard information carefully and truthfully, yet can make you laugh too. 3) He is thorough. He will look at you from head to toe to make sure he knows what is happening with you. 4) His staff are absolutely incredible. My family member required multiple tests. He took us to the front desk, and the woman there literally scheduled EVERYTHING right then and there. She made the calls. She had us totally organized by the time we walked out the door. Absolutely incredible. In summary, as a fellow healthcare worker, I highly recommend Dr. Salberg. He really wants to help and will get you where you need to be. Thank you, Dr. Salberg, for the incredible care you are taking of my family member. It means the world.

Very grateful for him

I was referred to him for a sleep study. I went there and the minute I sat down he told me since my neck was thick I was going to test positive in the sleep study. Which I did however the next thing I know he ordered every test possible that his office could perform which is bone density and nerve shock and blood tests up the wazooo!!! Even the person giving me the bone test density asked me why he said I need one. Then she proceeded to tell me It was completely unnecessary to take it. I have seen several doctors since him and mentioned his name and why I would never return. All of them said no need to say any more they understood. Of course they cant just come out and say it but they knew. Stay away from him! Dont let he run tests go generate revenue! Go to a doctor that cares.

I have been going to dr. salbery since 1983; with an intruption of 15 years when we moved to arizona. We are now back and I am back with him. He is my neurologist of choice. He diagnosed my seizure disorder when no other doctor could. He is tops in my book and I refer anyone who needs a neurologist to go see. him. Glad his is still practicing and glad I was able to get an appointment with him so quickly. He is aces in my book.

He only asked questions about sleep. Wouldn't let me speak. Ordered a bunch of tests. When I left I was overwhelmed and disgusted.

I was referred to Dr. Salberg from my primary doctor and couldn't be happier. Dr. Salberg went through every concern and more that I had and gave me several solutions I can work on. He and his staff were exceptionally kind and considerate. Thank you!

Dr. Salberg orders way too many test, and of course everyone has Sleep Apnea, so if you see him, count on the Sleep test. He told me to quit smoking, as if I didn't already know that, and said he would give me a treach to help me quit. Really??? Between his office and the Sleep Lab one doesn't know what the other is doing and they don't communicate to each other. I had to reschedule many appts due to lack of communication. I work, I look like a fool when I ask for the time off, then I can't use it for the appt. Better have great insurance, because he will order every test under the sun.

He is excellent, staff is not the greatest. Billing doesnt call back.

He is after your money, period. He will not listen to what you have to say and will cut you off in mid sentence. I went to this quack for a low back eval. Brought an MRI with, he said we need a different one and wouldn't look at it.he ends up measuring my neck with a tape measure because I now need a sleep study. Whaatt? He ordered 8-10 thousand dollars worth of tests that I did not need, along with 3 referrals. My blood tests alone are costing me over $1,000. for nothing. Stay away from this lying money grubbing jerk. I truly feel like picketing his office to let others know what to expect from this hack. Huge mistake going to his office.

He diagnosed me as depressed and put me on several meds. Then he ran every procedure that he could. He told me not to worry about insurance because he gets the insurance companies to pay for everything. I still had all the procedures pre-approved just in case. I had one procedure approved and the day of procedure, he changed the orders to add certain items in the procedure. Of course, insurance did not cover them. We ended up going to court and had to pay out of pocket over $4800.00. After having a surgery at U of C, the spinal doctor there explained that the majority of the procedures were not needed and were used only to further Dr. Salbergs medical journals. He is more interested in his own personal gain than the patient. I was nothing more than a medicated lab rat that ended up paying big time in the end. I would never, ever refer him to anyone. If you like multiple EMGs in every limb possible and never figure out what is wrong....then this is your doctor.
