Dr,Lars is very compassionate, empathy listen and address s to your concerns accordingly and timely in a very professional manner. I would recommend him and his colleagues to my friends and family. Dr. Lars Gardener, DO is absolutely incredible!! He performed an extensive Anterior and Posterior C-Spine surgery on me in late March 2024. He is the consummate professional yet easy to talk to. He’s absolutely brilliant, compassionate with a steady hand. There’s a reason he’s a Top Doc from one year to the next. He’s the most down-to-earth staff of professionals you’ll ever meet. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Look no further for your neurosurgeon because you’ll not find a better one.

Dr Gardner listened to me when I explained the issues I was having with my back and thoroughly explained all of my options. My surgery went well and i am now on the road to recovery minus the pain that I had before surgery. I am very pleased with the care I received from Dr Gardner and would highly recommend him.

After three years of being on pain meds and pain management I finally met with dr Lars who is going to help me. He was understanding and very thorough as was his PA. I am looking forward to surgery and getting back to living again!

Great Dr and team! I had multi level lumbar fusion with cages in Feb. That surgery went great and now I need cervical surgery. I will trust Dr Lars and his team every time. You could not ask for better care.

Go to any other doctor. Dr. Lars was the physician who interpreted my fathers imaging at Wake Med after an accident. During a two day stay at Wake Med Cary, Dr. Lars Gardner refused to come to the hospital to examine my father. Dr. Lars Gardner completely failed to examine and order and oMRI resulting in incorrect diagnosis and treatment of my father.
