Dr. Artim has written my prescription wrong twice. I have paid almost 500 dollars over what I am supposed to pay. She had first written it incorrectly by prescribing biweekly and I was paying around 90 dollars each time. I was confused and assumed that so no e it’s a controlled substance that maybe the laws had it to where I needed to request for my refill twice a month. And I had learned that OptumRX has a cheaper solution by delivering a 90 supply for 190 and had messaged her in my patient portal specially asking for a 90 day supply and she still wrote it as a 30 day supply. This is not acceptable and this has been very expensive for me. I understand that I need to learn my insurance but the provider also has access to it too and I had even messaged asking why is it prescribed biweekly and she responded “it’s how insurance does it” and my insurance allows 90 day hon delivery. If there was ever a problem I don’t understand the lack of communication or the doctor’s due diligence.
