Dr. Laura Kathleen Bianchi, MD

My first colonoscopy was performed by Dr. Bianchi. She and her staff were amazing! I had never done anything medically before. She explained everything. There was a questionable spot and i was walked through surgery to remove it. After meeting with her and a telephone call, i felt heard. She wrote up a comprehensive visit summary. Performs procedures without follow-up with patient. If there is follow-up it takes months to see her. Does not reply to urgent requests for care on North Shore Connect.

She saw me on an urgent basis over her lunch hour (and i was a new patient). She was prompt, nice and did follow up via email the next day. Not sure of her medical diagnosis skills yet, but her education and fellowship was top notch....

Loved Dr. Bianchi! If every Doctor had her bedside manner, visiting the doctor would be a much more pleasurable experience.

I have found Dr. Bianchi to be an intelligent and caring physician. She called to check on me in the evening. I am not concerned about what she wears and am thankful for her follow up.

In reading the reviews of this doc. I have to concur that my opinion is just like that of previous reviewers. Very cold experience with L. Bianchi. When she read the results of my colonoscopy to me in the recovery room, I had the impression that her having contact with a conscious person was as distasteful to her as was the procedure I had just undergone. Why North Shore continues to keep her on staff is beyond me. Even the staff who worked with her seemed nasty and arrogant. She would be a much happier person if she changed car oil for a living although I am sure she would miss the income. I will not be back to her ever again.
