Dr. Laura L. Billiet, MD

Dr. Billiet and I met because my doctor retired. I went in with a "well I'll give her a try and can always change later" thought in mind. Very quickly I was thrilled and actually brought my sister and mom to her! She is attentive, thoughtful, pro-active and responsive. She is young enough to have current ideas and methods and experienced enough to know what to do and how to go about it the best way possible. I highly recommend her and miss her greatly from Inova - Vienna. If she were still here she would still be my doctor, without question.

I'm a former patient of Dr. Billiet's (when she was at Inova Primary Care Vienna). It wasn't my choice to stop seeing her. During the time she was my internist, I was overweight (over 200 lbs ... currently 160.2 lbs). As far as explaining care plans and lab work, she was quite thorough. And explained stuff in a way i could understand, and was receptive to.I appreciate the fact that when we had difficult conversations about my weight, she listened to where I was coming from first. I haven't been treated with that level of respect by other internists. Therefore, she earned my respect. I gave her 4 stars because her leaving Vienna was rather abrupt (in my opinion), and I was essentially left without an internist for a while. The other doctors in that practice weren't accepting new patients. I find it odd that I'd be considered a new patient when I'd be laterally switched to another doctor.

1) lady at front, RAINA, is abrasive, unfriendly and inefficient considering you are calling about vulnerable health issues 2) billiet was unwilling to explore medical issues beyond very template, basic needs. so not my go to diagnostician
