Dr. Laura Elizabeth Bishop, DO

My brother had open heart surgery preformed by Dr Kon, while in the hospital he suffered a major stroke that was not picked up by Cardiac dept. During a neurological review Chritina Cohnon an MRI was done and he was admitted to Neurological care under Dr Bishop. He was told that he needed 24 hr care to handle medication, money and meals and told that he couldn’t make any major decisions. With that being said I was told that he was capable of making medical decisions and released into the care of someone that is not capable of making competent decisions. I’m confused and don’t understand their reasoning on this issue. His health is deteriorating and he is unable to make decisions. I would seriously not recommend this Doctor or her staff. There was also a complete disconnection between Cardiac and Neurological department ??
