She didn’t even hear what I said — asked me many times to repeat myself and then discarded what I was telling her. I sought therapy to move forward, and she only moved me backwards by denying my reality and not validating me in any way whatsoever. Seriously?? For $325 an hour??!!

Dr. Laura Will Give You Depression

Dr Bologh is not a good doctor. She comes across as patronizing and not empathetic enough to really understand you. Meh.

Dr Bologh is oddly detached and difficult to form a healthy attachment to. Look elsewhere to heal.

My son has an anxiety disorder. It was hurting his ability to get along with others and holding him back from pursuing opportunities. Dr. Bologh helped my son to understand his anxiety, become self-aware of the triggers and then to develop mental exercises that would "turn off the bully inside his head" so that he could get on with his life. Over ten months of weekly meetings, my son developed the "muscle memory" to suppress his anxiety in real time. Dr. Bologh had a plan and she executed on that plan with incredible empathy and professionalism. I am writing this review a few years after my son's time with Laura. He is now in college and succeeding beyond my wildest dreams for him. I decided to write this now because Laura's work has passed the test of time and that is the ultimate challenge for a great therapist.
