I saw Dr Dabney today for a C&P exam for the VA. I have a lot of mental health issues and was overly anxious about the appointment but i felt like I could be open and honest and she did a great job actively listening! Thank you Dr. Dabney

She really helped me with my issues, which there were many. I love that she didn’t throw medication in my face either! I can’t stand that stuff. I highly recommend her for counseling!

I was quite frightened at the prospect of going to a psychiatrist. I have this believe that I would be spilling out my feelings in there would be little or no response from the other side. In the case of Dr. Dabney, nothing could be further from the truth. She is helping me work through relationship issues and I feel I'm off to a fresh start. Highly recommended.

Dr. Dabney's staff is exceptional. Caring and helpful. Working with Dr. Dabney changed my life. You don't feel like just another number, she truly cares about your and your wellbeing.

I will say that I worked with both Dr. Dabney and the life coach she has on staff, Ms. Brant. I saw Dr. Dabney for about a year, and we both decided that I was doing pretty well but I was NOT ready to just be done with therapy. Dr. Dabney recommended I continue treatment by doing life coaching with Ms. Brant, before stopping treatment completely. I was hesitant at first, but after working with her for about six months it helped me maintain all the "new tools" I learned from Dr. Dabney and helped me stay accountable. To this day, although I am out of treatment I use what Dr. Dabney and Ms. Brant taught me in a LOT of my relationships. (I began seeking them due to trouble with my adult children.)

Honestly, I don't normally do reviews but I was very impressed so I felt compelled to leave one! I don't even know where to begin, she was so caring and thoughtful from the second I walked in the door. She made me feel comfortable the whole time I was there! I highly recommend her for marriage counseling!

When I was in a dark place, Dr. Dabney had the insight and knowledge to help me figure out ways to maneuver out. Highly recommend!

The staff made me feel comfortable I was unsure about even showing up for my appointment. Once I stepped into the office I realized it was worth it. If I can give anyone advice is to not be scared to go to therapy. Dr. Dabney explained how it would be worth it if I put in the work. It was hard, but in the end I am happy I did it.
