Dr. Laura S Fernandes, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. Fernandes for several years. She was able to motivate me to lose weight and live a heathlier life style. Under her care I was able to improve my heart health. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Fernandes has been the best experience I have had, I have been seeing cardiologists since the age of 10 due to a childhood heart condition and I am very particular about my care. From the first day I met her Fernandes has been honest about my care and expectations as my provider. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to heart health and provides tough love because she cares. I travel from Atlanta to my appointments because I know the standard of care and each associate and NP that I have worked with have been thorough and helpful on my journey to optimal health. I highly recommend Dr.Fernandes and her team and no matter where I live I will be her patient.

I love doctor Fernández but very bad comunicación with nurses and front desk I had few mistakes there not happy about it.

I would recommend Dr. Fernandes in a heart beat. Over the years, I have used 4 other cardiologist. Due to a recent move to the Woodlands area from out of state, I made an appointment with Dr. Fernandes base of her credentials and reviews. My first visit was the best cardio examination of any of the previous 4. See seems to be very caring and has a great personality. I have not seen her without a mask due to the virus and I am looking forward to seeing her facial expressions when things get better.

I've been going to the woodlands Heart Institute since 2018. I am pleased with the attentive Customer Service of the Staff. The doctor's attention to detail and patient care has resulted in my improved over all health. Thank you Dr. Fernandes. The pass few months have been stressful you guys are awesome!

Nothing but problems from day 1. No feedback, wrong feedback, wrong dob on paperwork, unnecessary trips down there over and over again. Would not recommend at ALL. Too scary to not trust a CARDIOLOGIST

Dr Fernandes and the staff have set me off on a journey to change my life. I listened, watched Forks Over Knifes, changed my perspective 9n dietary needs and have lost weight and inches. I was diagnosed with TY II Diabetes in 1999 and have been on a Carbohydrate Restricted Diet up until my first visit to the Woodlands Heart Institute. The whole thought process was counterintuitive to everything I had been told and researched. Low and behold, being on a plant based diet my Blood Sugar Readings have been lower than they've been since being diagnosed. Thanks to Dr Fernandes and the staff at Woodlands Heart Institute!

Dr. Fernandes is a friendly doctor—she however has 0 followup and works with an Electrophysiologist who is a poor example of a doctor. I canceled my followup appointments with her due to her recommendation. When asked why I was canceling by the front desk I explained myself and asked for Dr. Fernandes to reach out to me. I also emailed Dr. Fernandes twice about my concerns. I never heard from her. A great doctor would followup with their patients, especially if they are unsure about the practice. I will remove or edit this review if Dr. Fernandes ever reaches out to me. I doubt that she will.

Too bad this only allows me to give 5 starts, if I could I would give 10! My mom for the longest was really struggling with her health and then steps in Dr. Laura and she completely changed my mother’s life. Dr Laura was a complete blessing in our lives. Also David and her all of her crew are very special professionals, and they really know how to take care and deal with each individual person. The most attentive and the sweetest people we’ve ever met!
