Dr. John Parks Trowbridge, MD

Let me paint you a picture. A year ago we thought that Dr. Trowbridge was a godsend. Now.... I was holding off on writing poor reviews because I've already contacted his office and sent two emails in regards to improper and unethical treatment of a Patient. This patient was never referred out, and so far zero efforts have been made to rectify continuity of care for this patient. There will be more reviews to come in regards to how things go from here. The Hippocratic Oath is actually a beautiful thing for Dr's to use as a guiding light. Unfortunately, this Dr. has lost his way. Until I see efforts made, this review is the beginning of many many to come. And now I wonder as I investigate into this man's character and doctorate what exactly lead him to be in the position he's in, including tax evasion. I'm finding some really interesting stuff that shines a lot on this Dr's character that I wish we had known. The fact is. Sick people suffer, EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. And all they want, is a… relief, to feel better and to feel cared for. If you are chronically ill, with complex issues, please don't go here. Let me save you, sincerely, I don't want anyone else having such a terrible ordeal as what we have now experienced.

Dr. John Parks Trowbridge is the consummate physician. He’s brilliant. Compassionate. A skillful listener. Incredible diagnostician. A walking encyclopedia of both mainstream and integrative medicine. An innovator. Teacher. Award-winning author of numerous books. A man of deep spiritual faith, who shows exceptional kindness to all his patients, staff, and everyone he meets. With his wit, he can make any medical topic a comfortable topic. He’s even an Eagle Scout who is committed to “always doing the right thing.” The list could go on and on: I simply can’t say enough wonderful things about him. Without a doubt, Dr. T. (as he is affectionately called) gave me an extra year with my late husband, thanks to his extraordinary care and innovation. Dr. T. was always available when I needed him, and he always made the correct diagnosis. Here’s an example: Early one morning, my husband had severe chest pains, so I rushed him to a nearby ER clinic, associated with one of the major hospitals in… the Med Center. Two MD’s diagnosed his problem as heart-related and stressed he should go to the hospital, but my husband refused to go. When we got home, I frantically called Dr. T. (even though it was the weekend), gave him my husband’s symptoms, and he diagnosed the problem correctly OVER THE PHONE—a problem which was NOT heart-related. He knew my husband extremely well, so he didn’t even have to pull a chart. He simply told me what to do, and my husband recovered at home. I am still totally amazed. In my own experience--prior to Dr. T.--I once told another well-respected doctor that I thought I had a specific problem, and the doctor replied, “You might,” and dropped the subject. With Dr. T.—the best of all listeners—I’ve said that I might have a certain problem, and almost before I knew it, Dr. T. had ordered the right test, prescribed the right supplements (or, if necessary, prescription drug), and my problem was history.. Years ago, in another waiting room, I heard a fellow patient say, “Dr. Trowbridge is the best.” Back then, I hadn’t heard of him, and since Trowbridge isn’t a common name, I unfortunately forgot. I can now say that with all my heart, I believe Dr. John Parks Trowbridge truly is THE BEST, and I totally trust him with my life.

I met Dr. T years ago after dealing with the typical doctors who have drug reps come in their office every 15 mins only to make your wait time hours. I got tired of that and needed a change. Dr. T believes in finding out what your body needs and supply natural nutrients to help it heal itself without toxic drugs that are constantly advertised to us. I believe everything we need to heal ourselves is already out there in nature. We just need to find out what we need and take it. Dr. T does extensive testing to determine exactly what you need to help your body turn on that switch to heal itself. I have been on nutrients and doing chelation therapy (removing bad toxins from our environment from our body) for years now and my own patients can't believe I am over 60 now. I am healthy and am very rarely sick and miss work. I recommend you call his office and ask for DVD's and CD's which can inform you of his healing method for your particular problem. He does not take insurance… since our insurance companies want the doctors to prescribe the toxic drugs they say we need. I highly recommend Dr Trowbridge. He has been my doctor for over 15 years. He looks at details, listens attentively, looks for and addresses the root cause of illness instead of just treating the symptoms like many doctors. We were referred to Dr. Trowbridge in 1992 by a fellow doctor who stated that Dr. T. was that "rare bird who could comprehend the human body down to the DNA, and was in the top 1% of the doctors". We found this to be the case in the prolo therapy treatment of my wife's shoulder, my back and knees, and our chelation treatments. My wife suffered a shoulder injury in an auto accident and in one year received over 150 medical treatments with various medical modalities, all to no avail. A shoulder surgeon declined the surgery and referred her to Dr. Trowbridge. Treatments were 100% successful and she recovered pain free full motion. We cannot express adequately our respect and appreciation for Dr. Trowbridge's treatments and staff.
