My first appointment was amazing she is very kind and explained what I had and the best way to approach my situation. I was very comfortable.

I recently had surgery w Dr Figura and must say that she and her staff have exceeded my expectations. Dr Laura and her CRNP, Molly have been kind, caring and professional. They addressed my fears and were very thorough with preparing me for surgery. The Women’s Center was incredible, everyone I met that cared for me was so very competent, I had excellent care there. The outcome of my surgery has been a much improved quality of life for me. Thank you Dr Laura for having such high standards, ensuring my surgery would be a success. The nurses told me that you expect the very best for your patients and love working with you because of this. Erie is so fortunate to have a excellent surgeon here for patients who need help.

Dr. Figura did some minor surgery for me and it was a great experience and I received the expected results. While doing it, she was very professional yet personable. She talked and joked a little bit, yet was focused on the procedure. I felt that I was in good hands and I am happy to recommend her as a good professional who is very capable but hasn't lost that human touch.

Excellent Doctor- She preformed 3 surgery’s on me, extremely particular, about my care & comfort. I had a unilateral mastectomy & reconstruction with a tram flap. I had a small set back due to infection which she immediately addressed, then after healing she took care of my final adjustment surgery. I healed amazingly with very minimal scaring due to skin care. Wonderful work I feel extremely lucky to have her as my doctor. ??

Dr.Figura has been such a god send to my health,she made sure I had the right care that was needed for such a dramatic life change that I was going through.she even fought with my insurance to make sure I got what was needed for my care. She made sure you’re the focus of every decision that was needed for my care,and that includes my after care. I don’t think I would of been able to get through what I’ve been through without her expertise,care and experience. I’m so looking forward to the end result under Dr.Figura care.

Bilateral mastectomies for unilateral infiltrating carcinoma with immediate tissue expander placement. SEVERE pain and muscle spasms started immediately post op and were unrelieved with pain meds +/or muscle relaxants. Plastic surgeon was very aggressive in pushing forward towards swap out but I ended up hospitalized because of intractable pain. Had to have expanders with only 280 and 340 ml volumes removed because Neurology wanted an MRI to rule out a brain leasion as the cause. Plastic Surgeon insisted on doing swap out to implant "to keep what we have already gained" She place 13.5 base/ 375 cc implants ( I had been a 40 D) 5 weeks later one had to be removed elsewhere after she wanted to treat a draining MRSA infection with oral antibiotics only. Pain and spasms on that side FINALLY resolved. She refuses to take out other implant (which has no projection , is hard and has a deep crease in the upper pole) claiming it is perfect and my continued pain and spams MUST be due to some… neurologic problem despite the negative Neuro workup and symptom resolution with removal on the other side.
