Dr. Laura C Hanrahan, MD

Laura Hanrahan should be more accurately described as a warden because Laura enjoys police powers thanks to New York State law. By filling out an official New York State form called OMH 471 (Google it and you'll find a copy), a judge will grant Laura the legal right to imprison human beings against their will, subject them to violence at the hands of burly guards, and drug them up in the name of helping them. Her "practice" is a locked ward (prison) on the 4th floor at ECMC, or was when she forced me against my will to interact with her back in 2017. Laura gets very upset if you call her locked ward a prison and denies that she has anything to do with the state, which means that Laura is delusional or lying through her teeth because she fills out official New York State forms on patients everyday, is paid by the county (a division of the state), relies upon judges (state employees) to imprison her patients at ECMC, and even testifies in a courtroom in downtown Buffalo in hearings that… supposedly determine whether a judge will free one of Laura's prisoners but have the appearance of a kangaroo court. Be aware that if you are interacting with Laura against your will at ECMC that she is documenting everything you say the moment she retreats into a locked staff room. The binders that you can see on a bookshelf through the window on the door that leads to that staff room contain the notes that she is compiling on you without your consent like a weirdo, which, to be fair, she is. These records come out to hundreds of pages of documents, and Laura will share those records without your consent or knowledge with any provider that she refers you to as an unstated condition of your release. Laura also makes reports from time to time to the hospital police downstairs in the interests of having her patients arrested. In a civilized society, Laura Hanrahan would be in jail for serious human rights abuses, but seems perfectly comfortable with her heinous actions in person, and justifies those actions through denial and projection.
