Dr. Laura Marie Hendricks, DO

Dr. Hendricks manages care for my 3 children with complex health care needs. She provides trauma informed contact with my kids who have had historically negative experiences in health care making them feel safe. She is thorough and attentive providing education and resources when we need them and helping us access specialists when needed. She communicates directly with my teens introducing them to their autonomy and health management choices. She is always available to problem solve system barriers when they arise. I am able to schedule easily and communicate with her team in the online system. My 7yo says, “She’s very nice and she cares about kids, if you’re scared she will try to make it not scary.” It’s a relief as a parent to be connected to such a competent, empathetic and accessible provider who has earned the trust of my kids and myself.
