Dr. Laura Knoll Henson, MD

I have been with Dr. Henson for several years, and I haven’t had any issues with her. She’s very empathetic and kind. She always follows up with me and is responsive to messages in the portal.

I am shocked to see a 1 star rating for my doctor. I have been going to Dr. Henson for over 4 years and I think she is the most kind and thorough doctor. I have high blood pressure and I am supposed to make sure my potassium and sodium are okay so my heart works right. Blood pressure medication can make those go up and down. Thank you Dr. Henson for caring about me.

I would not recommend this physician. I should’ve paid more attention to the reviews before making an appointment. My husband has been on the same blood pressure medication for 20 yrs. Never did he have to come back in 6 mos after blood work for more blood work. When he questioned her about it, we suddenly both got “certified letters” saying we could no longer see her or ANYONE at the clinic. Unbelievable... His BP is very borderline high and never did any other doctor force him to come back in 6 mos after a physical. No wonder healthcare costs are so high. A lot of unnecessary testing..

I can't say enough about Dr. Henson. She is a genuine straight shooter. I have not been the easiest on my body but Dr. Henson didn't shame me. She showed ccompassion and offered advice to get me back on track.

The practice might be good overall. The 1 star rating is for Dr. Henson & Linda (the office manager). Dr. Henson does not listen or communicate her plan to patient. Dr. Henson might know how to practice good medicine, though I did not witness that. Linda just does not follow-up without you having to pester her.

Save your time and energy. Just go to another Dr. I ended up having to have emergency surgery.

A truly special doctor who got me back on track with diet and exercise. I let myself go a little bit and it really brought me down. Dr. Henson motivated me and gave me positive reinforcement. I'm glad she is my doctor.

I needed a test result interpretation, but also complained of right knee pain while there. She asked me 0 questions about it, did not examine it, and attributed it to another condition with no assessment. I didn't trust her. I saw my arthroscopic surgeon who confirmed moderate arthritis via MRI. She wants to quickly chalk up what she can't explain to you being a head case. Run. No one needs health care that lacks professionalism and accountability.
