Dr. Laura Ann Kalayjian, MD

I really appreciated her candor and helping me understand what was wrong and what I needed to do. Dr. K has a good nature and is intelligent.

Dr. Kalayjian is very knowledgeable; up to date on treatments, medical and other. Dr. K has been studying the affects of epilepsy on women in particular and how it is different than that from men, which is very important when you're facing hormonal issues, pregnancy, perimenopause, menopause, stress, work, etc..... There is no-one that can surpass Dr. K on bed-side manner as she is #1; her moods are not taken to work, she gives you her full attention, she keeps you part of your caretaking team - YOU are ultimately in charge - she has never talked down to me. The staff at USC Neurology is very attentive and like family. I can't say anything bad about Dr. K or the staff, and I've been with them for over 10 years. She's brilliant and down to earth - what more could you ask for.

Excellent communication skills and evident empathy when working with my adult brain injured son. I have had experience with a lot of doctors over the twenty years since my son's accident and she rates at the top with a few others. Grateful for the referral!

I was lucky enough to get in to see her in just a few days with a very unusual problem. She was top notch. Incredibly thorough and kind. She was the third neurologist I had seen and you couldn't find a better doctor!

She seemed very bright /informed & was asking all the right questions - yes she was 'hurried' but she only has so much time for each patient and i understand she has to try to get enough info to diagnose etc. I blame the insurance companies not the doctors. I believe she will do the best she can for me. can't wait to see her again !

I have been seeing Dr. Kalayjian for 5 years and am very pleased with her. She cares for her patients and listens. She is the best. I would recommend her. Some times as patients we want a quick fix and with Epilepsy it may take several months to get the right med that works for you be patient..........Go see Dr. Kalayjian..

She was 45 minutes late and did not address my concerns. Was highly recommended by a friend, yet did my meet my expectations. never returned phone calls.

I think she is great. She takes the time with her patients and she is caring and she is very good at calling you back or e-mailing you whenever you have a question. I feel very good with her and I trust her. I am very happy I found her. I total would recommend her.
