Her office demeanor is wonderful….but the most important thing about Dr. Matsen is that she is a very experienced, careful, skillful surgeon. She was able to take my crippled, painful, arthritic knee and fit me with the latest in knee replacement technology. I am still amazed that seven weeks after surgery I was able to go on an overnight backpacking trip that required hiking 1,000 feet elevation in 1.5 miles to our alpine lake campsite. So I consider Dr. Matsen an operating room wizard who works miracles. I also respect her judgement and requirement that patients be optimally prepared to have good results.

Outstanding, professional, kind, courteous and exceptional. From the front desk staff checking me in, the PA getting me settled in and my visit with Dr. Matsen everything exceeded my expectations. Very little waiting in the lobby as well as when they took me to my room.
