Dr. Laura Lynn Mccord, MD

Very difficult to get an appointment even though I’ve been a patient for several years. Then the appointment is rescheduled for several months later.

Dr McCord is very good at diagnosing standard problems. If you have more complicated problems, she does not have the sharp diagnostic skills you would want. Kind of a one size fits all approach. Plus she may say symptoms are psychological in origin when they are not. So you are left without good medical care. Nice enough demeanor and office staff. But, don’t go if you have more than the flu, basic diabetic needs, or other more routine care.

Dr McCord is good for basic primary care and she has a warm personality. But if your condition has any complexity or vague, troubling symptoms, don’t expect her to have great diagnostic skills. She simply doesn’t have a “think out of the box” skill set.

Dr. McCord is probably the finest primary care doctor I have ever had. She is so caring and always makes herself available. I love having Dr. McCord as my primary, and I'm grateful to have her.

Dr. McCord has been my PCP for 17 years. I trust her implicitly. She is extremely knowledgable, takes the time to really listen and explains things, is extremely professional and courteous. I have stayed with her through several office changes, and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new PCP

Dr McCort is professional and competent. She got to the core of my complicated medical problem quickly with a plan to follow up.

Does not return calls promptly. Long wait to get appointments. Encountered her and staff laughing about an elderly patient's situation.

She has been my doc for 19 years and I wouldn't have it any other way. She has been the only Doctor I've ever had who REALLY listens to me and cares. Love her!!
