Dr. Laura Mae Mumford, MD

I am a senior and found Dr. Mumpford to pre-diagnose based on general symptoms associated with aging. I found her to be somewhat insensitive to the feelings I registered. Almost cookie-cutter diagnosis.

I only care about the care Dr. Mumford gives me. She is top notch.

I have seen Dr. Mumford 16+ years and I have never been disappointed in her care. She listens to me, and has an easy way about her that puts me at ease, even when I may have been worried upon entering the office. Her office staff has always been very helpful and curteous also.

Reliable and caring physician

I can't figure out how Dr. Mumford's overall rating could possibly be as low as 3.2 given what I, as a physician myself, have had to experience with many other doctors. Dr. Mumford is bright, well trained, a good diagnostician, caring, easy to talk to, holistic, very available, and trustworthy. What more can we ask? Her care is heads and tails above most internists, even those who come highly recommended. She is basically a solo practitioner, which is one reason you may have to wait a little in the office. The flip side is that you will always see her, not some associate you've never met.

Have seen this doctor for about 10 years or more. When I was hospitalized she came as soon as she could and correlated my care. She listens.

Dr. Mumford has been my regular doctor for about 20 years. She is superb in dealing both with acute problems and my chronic health issues. Dr. Mumford is extremely smart and competent, and she always takes time to interview me and discuss my health. She is by far the best doctor I have ever used.
